We have been trying to dig through the files of this game over the last couple years and have finally reached a rough first working beta of the game, with the first hour translated. I’m happy to formally announce Team Defan's intent to translate the visual novel Kokoro Connect: Yochi Random. Admittedly I developed some memory issues in 2016 but that was more short term memory, so maybe it just means the novel itself was not memorable? Or maybe the editing in the TL was bad, also possible. I literally do not remember ANYthing except the premise of the first book. I come to this site and turns out I'd already read up to somewhere in the 3rd novel. And I'm thinking oh hey, I should read/watch kokoro connect, I remember the premise of the first book and it did kinda interest me even if it didn't feel original. Reasons why I stopped reading were the tl and that I couldn't help but constantly compare it to Utsuro no Hako which is simply better.ĮDIT: So, 6 years later, and I'm getting back into the japan manga/anime/ln scene. Especially the sides, thoughts and feelings that they usually desperately try to keep hidden. Every book has the same group of friends have some phenomenom thrust upon them that forcefully makes them understand each other better and have to grow to accept another facet of their friends' characters. Similar to Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria (Novel), with inferior writing (and tl's English, but that'll be brushed up.may already be as I read this back in 2011 or something)
